River Valley Power and Sport is a new and pre-owned boat and water craft dealer in Minnesota. We sell popular brands such as AlumaCraft, Yamaha Jet Boats, Yamaha WaveRunner Personal Watercraft, Centurion Tow and Wake boats, Cobalt, Chris Craft, Bennington pontoons. River Valley is a White Diamond Yamaha dealer and is the top volume selling dealers for the Yamaha and Evinrude BRB brands in the United States. Monterey Boats' largest unit volume dealer and top 10 with Bennington Pontoons.

Business hours- M-F 9AM-6PM. SAT 9AM-3PM (rotating)

Compensation: average $150,000/year (top sellers upwards of $250,000) Base Salary + Commission

Responsibilities

• Sell, sell, sell marine products and deliver a superior RVPS customer experience
• Utilize the dealership sales process
• Responsible for creating and maintaining a pleasant buying environment for the customer at all times
• Be familiar with and follow all dealership sales processes/policies and procedures at all times
• Follow up with all sold customers in a timely manner
• Continually review and refine product knowledge of vehicles that we sell (and also of vehicles that our competitors sell)
• Keep space neat and orderly (including showroom maintenance; new and used product cleanliness)
• Work Boat Shows and some company events
• Follow dealership dress codes and be well groomed at all times
• Attend all sales meetings and report to work as required by the sales manager
• Understand that customer flow dictates closing times, and that there will often be times when employees will be required to stay at the dealership later than the dealership’s posted closing time

Qualifications

• LightSpeed, LightSpeedEVO experience is a plus
• Knowledge of marine equipment
• 'A' level selling and customer service skills
• Previous selling position required
• Reliable, with a strong work ethic
• Self-cultivating
